This event will be held from the 13 to the 16th October 2016 at the National Convention Centre in Beijing, China, and is being run in conjunction with the: International Exhibition on Energy Efficient Vehicles China 2016 (IEEV China 2016). This forum is organized by the CCPIT MSC and supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (China) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

The first IEEV China was held October 2013 at National Convention Centre inBeijing. This event was very successful and is now recognized as an event that provides significant exposure for the exhibitors as well as being highly recommended for those wishing to gain full access to information and brands. This event is open to any persons wishing to attend.
INAUGURAL CANZ EV FORUM
This CCPIT MSC forum event has been planned for the purpose of bringing together those who have a strong interest and involvement in the transformational transition from a fossil fuel vehicle to electric. It is hoped that representatives fromChina,AustraliaandNew Zealand will attend and participate in the forum itself, as well as attend the IEEV exhibition. Attendance at the forum is by way of invitation only.
Invited participants will attend workshops that will be collaborative and allow for round table discussion. Presenters and speakers will be selected from within the three forum countries, with industry sector leaders from other countries also speaking throughout the event.
It is envisaged that much of the discussion will cover ways in which the energy, manufacturing, distribution, marketing, and policy sectors are working to ensure that electric vehicles are being designed, developed, manufactured, and future proofed. Topics and site visits will include Chinese Manufacturing Sector, Parts and After Sales support, Unmanned Driving Technology and Hardware, Evolving Electric Vehicle Technology and Software innovations, whilst site visits will include the Beijing Automobile Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Plant and theBeijing SmartCityandElectricVehicleOperationControlCenter.
At the conclusion of the forum a working group will be selected from within the three countries to move forward into 2017.
Cost to attend this event (not including Airfares) is $4200.00 NZ per participant.
This fee covers all arranged costs including

· Transport to the venue and back to the hotel

· All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and all mid-meeting breaks)

· Entry Fee to the IEEV exhibition

AGENDA FOR THE FORUM OUTLINE:China,New Zealand, andAustraliaare three nations with a common goal to lower carbon emissions to mitigate climate change. The Forum aims to create an opportunity for a collaborative relationship to be established to address these common goals through a combination of dialogue, shared ideas, investment and policy development. It is hoped that agreement on the formation of a working group comprised of participants selected from various sectors such as
Science, Technology, Manufacturing, Transport, Public Policy, Energy and the Environment, and representing the three nations. This working group would meet regularly to collaboratively discuss climate change, transportation and investment.

The package includes the full Forum, Exhibition, hotel, meals, and the transfers to, and from, arranged site visits from the evening of the 12th October to departure on the morning of the 18th of October.
This generous package enables participants to revisit the Exhibition during their stay, if required, and to more closely examine the way in which theSmartCityfunctions. If a participant wishes to explore Beijing, or to visit the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the Yonghe Temple, Beihai Park, the Ming Tombs or any number of other attractions, whilst staying in one of Beijing’s most luxurious hotels, then they are welcome to do so. Such tours would be self-funded, but Forum organisers will be happy to assist in arranging visits and tours. Airfares are NOT included, but there are many great airfare deals toBeijingon offer.
